The Peeling Lamp Design allows you to customize your own lamp and light source as you prefer by a simple peeling of the surface; kind of like an interactive home gadget.

This cool lamp design by Sehwan Oh is a very practical home gadget lamp that lets you make your own special design. By using the specially scored surface, any individual may set their own light source as bright or as dark or as modern as they wish. The thing is, you simply play with the different areas and take off only the ones you want.

This may be a little bizarre, but we must admit it is a nifty idea. almost as odd as the Plunger Lamp, and is just as cool as the Lego Lamp. Overall, it is a cool idea that is really simple to implement alone if we ever wish to.

An Apple Mac G4 Clock is a great creation using the side panel of the actual famous computer.

We all know that there is a hell of a fanbase for Apple products which are extremely loyal, and many also highly creative. Instead of just letting the Mac G4 lie around doing nothing, someone found another practical use for it…as a Apple Wall Clock.

True, it may not be that creative deserving such praise, but is still pretty clean and stylish. We have seen more creative Apple tributes before with the Apple Brand Apples, the Mac Artwork, and also the true Geek Apple Pie, but it is the thought that counts in the end…or doesn’t it?

Sony connects its flat panel TVs (Bravia) to Internet by the Yahoo! Widget Engine.

Both the Sony Bravia XBR9 series and the Z series will have access to Internet by the free application platform called “Yahoo! Widget Engine” that allows users to get information in real time, as well as to broadcast video directly to the TV screen. Sony made this announcement during the first day of The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2009 that takes place these days (in Las Vegas).

Thanks to this technology and an Ethernet port that is present in both series, it will be possible to have access to some websites like Amazon, YouTube and Yahoo, among many others.

The XBR9 series include four models of 32″ (KDL-32XBR9), 40″ (KDL-40XBR9), 46″ (KDL-46XBR9) and 52″ (KDL-52XBR9). All models (except the KDL-32XBR9) have the Bravia Engine 3 technology, the 24p True Cinema feature and the 240Hz Motionflow technology.

The smallest model (KDL-32XBR9) only has the Brave Engine 2 technology and 120Hz Motionflow technology. Nevertheless, all the four screens have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
